NeigerDesign's Evanston Fourth of July poster satirically encapsulates the vibrant tradition of reserving prime parade-viewing spots with the iconic "saving the place" chairs. This time-honored ritual, embedded in the fabric of the community, unfolds as chairs mysteriously dot curbs weeks before the celebration, symbolizing residents' eager anticipation of the much-anticipated parade. The poster brings this lively essence to life, portraying a streetscape adorned with various chairs, each telling a story of suspense and community spirit. The visual narrative captures the timeless tradition seamlessly woven through the ages, becoming an integral part of Evanston's Independence Day celebrations.
